Travel nurse housing in Miami, near the hospitals and away from the noise

The table above is not from a brochure. Each time is door to door by car, measured with live traffic on a weekday, from this house to that hospital. North Shore Medical Center and Jackson North are the close ones, at thirteen and sixteen minutes. Jackson Memorial, Mount Sinai Miami Beach, Aventura and Memorial Regional are all a real drive of around half an hour, which in Miami traffic is what most commutes look like.

Parking is free at the house, so there is no garage to think about at the end of a twelve-hour shift, and the drive home ends on a residential street with almost no traffic on it.

It means you unpack and that is it. The kitchen is a full one, with everything to cook a real meal after a run of shifts rather than living on takeout. There is a washer and dryer in the house, so scrubs get done at home. Air conditioning and heating throughout, a television, a barbecue grill in the garden, and a dedicated workspace with fast WiFi for charting, courses or a video call with family in another time zone.

The house is single level, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Three colleagues on the same contract can share it comfortably, each with a door that closes, and split one booking rather than hunting for three apartments. It sleeps six.

Biscayne Park is a small village inside Miami that has kept its trees and its quiet on purpose. It functions as a bird sanctuary, the streets are residential, and the loudest thing at two in the afternoon is usually a bird. For daytime sleep after nights, that matters.

The pool and hot tub are private and yours for the whole stay, which is a better way to come down from a shift than a hotel corridor. Groceries and everyday errands are a few minutes away by car, and when you have a stretch of days off, the beach at Surfside is about ten minutes and Wynwood fifteen.

Assignment dates rarely fall neatly on the first of a month. Tell us your start and end dates and we will do our best to hold the calendar to match.

One pet can be approved in advance if you send us the type, breed and age. The pool is unfenced, so a young child needs close supervision around it. Over a longer stay the pool and yard get scheduled maintenance visits, and we tell you when. No parties, and let us know ahead if you are expecting guests.
