Off campus does not have to mean far
The reason most people over-estimate the cost of moving off campus is distance. They picture a bus, or a car they do not have, or a fifteen-minute walk in a Cleveland February. This is not that. From the front door it is three minutes to North Residential Village, one to DiSanto Field, five to campus and five to Uptown. You will keep the same walk to class you have now.
Little Italy and University Circle are both twelve minutes on foot, which is the part people actually enjoy: dinner on Murray Hill without driving, and the museums, Severance and the clinic campus on the other side.
What you get for it
Four bedrooms and two bathrooms, renovated from the studs in 2025. New kitchen, new bathrooms, new flooring, new HVAC, new appliances. Laundry inside the apartment rather than a basement you share with the building. Central air conditioning, which matters more in September than anybody expects. Smart locks, so nobody is hiding a key under a mat.
Cats and dogs are welcome, and there is a dog bath, which is not something the residence halls offer. The rent, what it covers and what you pay on top are in the panel beside this - they come from the listing itself rather than from this page, so they cannot go stale.
When to start looking, and what to do first
Decide before spring room selection. Case Western asks students who have chosen to live off campus not to take part in room selection, so the two decisions happen in sequence and the off-campus one comes first. Practically, that means looking in the fall and signing in the winter for a lease that starts the following year.
Leases here are twelve months with a flexible start date. Book a tour, or a FaceTime walkthrough if you are not in Cleveland, and the application takes about five minutes. If you have no income history yet, you will need a guarantor, which is usually a parent, and that is entirely normal for a student lease.
Who you are actually renting from
We are Pari and Moshik. We own these three houses, we renovated them, and we answer the phone ourselves. There is no management company between you and the person who decides whether something gets fixed, which is why the answer to "what if something breaks" is "text us" rather than a ticket number.
The deposit comes back in full if the apartment comes back in good condition. We are not in the business of finding reasons to keep it.

- Is this place actually new?
- Yes. We completed a full renovation in 2025. New kitchens, new bathrooms, new flooring, new HVAC, new appliances - everything. You're not inheriting anyone else's wear and tear.
- What's included in rent?
- Water, sewer, and trash. You pay electric, gas, and internet.
- Are pets allowed?
- Yes! Cats and dogs welcome. There's even a dog bath. $500 refundable pet deposit.
- Is parking available?
- Street parking and limited private parking for the units.
- Can we get it furnished?
- Yes, furnished is available for an additional monthly cost. Ask us for details.
- What's the lease term?
- 12 months, but start date is flexible. Units are available now.
- How do we apply?

- Do we need a guarantor?
- For students without income history, yes, usually a parent.
- What if something breaks?
- Text us. We respond within 24 hours, usually faster.
